Emma is a third-generation artist with an unquenchable thirst for the magic of art.
She lives and works in Jacksonville, FL, painting portraits for discerning clients around the country. Her work has been featured in speciality magazines, industry conventions and gallery showings.
Emma works in a variety of media, with special expertise in soft pastel and ceramic underglaze. She is known for her sensitive and life-like pet portraits, which have provided a living for the working artist.
Her pet portraits have won awards in prestigious juried exhibitions, including those by the Pastel Society of America, Portrait Society of America and Tampa Regional Artists. In addition to portrait commissions, Emma paints and teaches pottery designs to ceramic artists and studios across the country.
Emma volunteers as the Literature Committee Chair for the Portrait Society of America’s Cecilia Beaux Forum, advancing knowledge of women artists of classical realism. She continues her artistic refinement with grandmother and master portrait artist, Ann Manry Kenyon.
